Factories and manufacturing plants

Risk: Fires from electrical panels and machinery, welding and grinding sparks, accumulated scrap, and after-hours theft.

Setup: Cameras cover production lines, panel rooms, raw material and finished goods storage, and the outdoor yard. Welding and grinding areas are set as time-restricted zones, excluded from fire monitoring during shift hours and switched on automatically after. Normal shop activity won't alarm, but a spark in the same spot overnight gets caught immediately.

Distribution warehouses

Risk: Fire spreading fast across high racking, heat from forklifts and charging stations, after-hours theft, and long perimeters.

Setup: The classic case where high ceilings leave smoke detectors too slow. Cameras cover aisles, loading docks, charging areas, and the perimeter. At night the whole site opens to person detection. During the day only the perimeter stays active.

Recycling and waste facilities

Risk: The highest fire risk of any sector. Lithium batteries, aerosol cans, and chemical waste inside bale stacks can self-ignite, and the fire starts deep in the pile where it can go unnoticed for hours.

Setup: Cameras covering bale and scrap yards run in fire mode 24/7. These are open areas, so detectors are effectively useless and video analysis is the only realistic early warning. Smoke detection matters most here, since these fires smolder long before visible flame.

Greenhouses and agriculture

Risk: Fires from heating systems and fuel storage, fast ignition of plastic sheeting, and after-hours theft at remote sites.

Setup: Cameras cover heating units, fuel and boiler rooms, and greenhouse corridors. Humidity and dust make sensors unreliable in this environment, while camera analysis is unaffected. The perimeter goes under person detection at night.

Livestock farms and feed mills

Risk: Fires in straw and feed storage, with livestock loss on top of property damage, plus dust and heat from feed machinery and theft along long perimeters.

Setup: Straw and feed storage and barn corridors go under fire monitoring. Dust and steam from feed machinery can cause false alarms, so zone and verification settings get tuned specifically at those points. The long perimeter is protected at night with person and vehicle detection.

Gas stations and fuel depots

Risk: Fuel fires grow extremely fast. This is an environment where seconds decide the outcome.

Setup: Cameras cover pump islands, tank filling areas, and the store surroundings. Headlights move through the scene constantly, so night-time flame and headlight discrimination and vehicle overlap checks are critical here.

Construction sites

Risk: Theft of cable, copper, fuel, and equipment. Fires from welding and heaters. No permanent security infrastructure.

Setup: Sites change constantly and permanent wiring isn't practical, so portable installations work best. Cameras cover material storage, generators, and the entrance gate. Outside working hours, the entire site opens to person and vehicle detection.

Lumber yards

Risk: Sawdust and wood dust ignite fast, and open stacking yards let fire spread with the wind.

Setup: Stacking yards and cutting areas run under fire monitoring 24/7. As open yards, they have no viable detector alternative.

Textile plants and warehouses

Risk: Fast ignition of fabric and fiber stacks, machinery overheating, and cotton dust.

Setup: Cameras cover production halls, fabric storage, and panel rooms. In heavily dusty environments, video analysis behaves far more consistently than sensors.

Energy and substation sites

Risk: Transformer and panel fires, late discovery at unmanned sites, and copper theft.

Setup: Cameras cover transformer yards and panel areas. These sites are usually unmanned, so person detection can stay active all day and report anyone who enters.

Parking lots and garages

Risk: Vehicle fires, especially around EV charging bays, plus vehicle and in-vehicle theft.

Setup: Cameras cover charging stations and parking levels. Parked vehicles are separated out as stationary objects, so they don't alarm continuously. Only real movement and events get reported.

Apartment complexes, malls, and hotels

Risk: Fires in common areas and mechanical rooms, unauthorized entry around parking and grounds.

Setup: Cameras cover mechanical rooms, trash and storage areas, and the perimeter. In busy common areas, person detection runs only during night hours and in selected zones.
